The 2020 Deshaun isn’t coming back after three seasons off; if he can rely on the TEAM more, and not himself, the Browns will be better.

The Deshaun Watson trade to me has always been about 2024. If he can be average, the Browns should have a good season. I don’t see him going back to the days of 2020 after three years of inactivity, but he doesn’t need to for the Browns to be a really good team.

No, Baker has had more success than watson in every facit of the game since the trade, he has had more playoff wins, more probowl appearances, better qbr, passer rating, pff grade, more yards per game, more tds per game, better completion percentage, more division titles. Literally everything. And if u stick with baker you get 3 extra first round picks and have more money to sign free agents. This shouldnt even be a question. Browns have had no playoff success since Baker was traded away. Easy.

He looks like more of a bench warmer to me. He ranked 25th or lower in qbr, passer rating, pff grade, and yards per game last year. Why did we give up so much for a bottom 7 qb?
